The article provides an overview of the conference held on 7th April 2025 at the Philosophy Department of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH, Moscow), dedicated to the memory of the prominent sinologist Yu.K. Shchutsky (1897–1938). The conference took place in a hybrid format, with the participation of scholars ranging from undergraduates to Ph.D.s from higher education institutions and research organisations of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The discussions centred on the history of Chinese philosophy and culture.
