Bard song in context historical interaction of Russian poetry and music

Abstract

In the article, in a wide historical range, the prerequisites for the emergence and existence of the bard song as a significant phenomenon in the life of Russian society in the second half of the 20 th century, based on the synthesis of poetry and music, the relationship between elite art and mass culture, are considered. For many decades, poets have striven for melodiousness of the word, and musicians for singing poetry, which was embodied in bardic creativity, reflecting the essence of the Russian national character.
