In the last decade, the Republic of Uzbekistan has been gaining more and more weight on the world stage. This is influenced by many factors, both internal and external: a favourable geographical location, the availability of natural and labour resources, and the consistent domestic and foreign policy of the Uzbek government. All this makes the country attractive to actors in international relations. It is attractive for investment, trade and cooperation in general. For this reason, the international community needs to understand the specific characteristics of the culture and traditions of the Uzbek people, their foundations, habits and norms of behaviour. The structuring and analysis of society's values is important, as these methods will help to better negotiate in different spheres. The article analyzes the reasons, conditions and examples of behavior of different social groups, considers possible barriers in the formation of the Russian-Uzbek dialogue and draws conclusions about how the progressive resolution of communication problems between the two peoples will contribute to the expansion and deepening of high-level relations.
