Urban Legends and Tales about Topophobic Petrozavodsk Locations: Features of Poetics through the Prism of Suggestiveness

Abstract
The article examines urban legends and tales dedicated to various Petrozavodsk locations, in terms of experiencing topophobia during visits to these places. By using the methods of motive, comparative, psychological, and structural-typological analysis, the author of the article explores how the designated genres reflect the public perception of these places and what folklore and mythological images and motives are the most frequent in them. It turns out that Petrozavodsk residents are increasingly fond of legend-tripping, visiting topophobic places in order to experience their suggestive impact.
