In article features of images on face sanitary masks are analyzed during COVID-19 pandemic. The object of the study is masks put up for sale by selling companies in the OZON online store in mid-February 2021. Masked images were classified on different grounds. The theme of masks is traced. A variety of cultural codes of contents in the face masks used in COVID-19 pandemic is revealed. Various aspects and meanings attached to images within the same theme are shown.
