10% of the possibilities of the brain, or About the education of infant prodigies

Dushenko K.V.

Abstract

The statement «We use no more than 10 percent of the capabilities of our brain» appeared in the late 1930 s. It was based on a very free interpretation of the concepts of American psychologists William James, Karl Sishor and Boris Saydis. Of particular interest in this regard is the theory of education and training of B. Saydis, which he applied to his son William, one of the most famous child prodigy in history.
