Albert Schweitzer and Emmanuel Levinas: ethics as a topic Jewish-Christian dialogue

Abstract

The article deals with the dialogue of Christian ethics and Jewish ethics as different versions of biblical ethics. In an effort to demonstrate the possibilities of such a dialogue, the author compares the positions of two outstanding thinkers: Albert Schweitzer (Christianity) and Emmanuel Levinas (Judaism).
