The topic of the relationship between culture and economics has been updated due to the increased entropy of the world economic system, the functioning of which no longer fits into the format of the neoclassical paradigm. This paper presents the conceptual approaches of domestic
and foreign economists to the formation of culture as a significant factor in socio-economic development. The deepening of knowledge in this area under the present conditions is of great scientific and practical importance.
