This article raises the problem of scientific interpretation of cultural heritage in the meaningful context of the ethos of culture. The issues of the essential characteristics of these concepts are touched upon, and the importance of the ethos of culture in the formation of the entire range of values embodied in cultural heritage objects is also indicated. At the same time, some theoretical aspects of their structural and functional interaction are highlighted, as well as some characteristic components of their analytical objectification.
