The constitutional system of any country is a form of its tangible and intangible cultural heritage, since it reflects the historical traditions accepted in society, as well as the peculiarities of its legal culture.This article is devoted to the analysis of the features of the British constitutional system, an important part of which are unwritten political conventions. It is shown that in no other country in the world would a system likethe British one be able to ensure the necessary stability and reliability, thepreservation of a democratic regime and the protection of human rights.The reason lies in the special legal culture, which is one of the elements ofthe universal culture of the British political elite.
