The Phenomenon of Impressing through the Prism of Ideas about Cultural Memory

Abstract
A consideration of the phenomenon of impressing through the prism of ideas about cultural memory is suggested. Impressing is considered, on the one hand, as a phenomenon the functioning of which is determined by the content, forms of existence and transmission of cultural memory; on the other hand, as one of the mechanisms for the formation, preservation and transmission of cultural memory. The emphasis is placed on the relationship between the collective and individual principles in the functioning of impressing as a sociocultural phenomenon.
