Abstract
The article analyzes adaptation strategies used by the creators of the British mini-series “A Young Doctor's Notebook”, which is based on Bulgakov’s medical stories. Among the most notable strategies there are: the visual adaptation of the characters as doubles and the initiation plot; attention to the image of Bulgakov himself when creating the original composition of the series; appeal to the British theatrical tradition (introduction of “bloody” and comic scenes).
